Centre welcomes new Partner The Centre is pleased to announce Melbourne Water has now joined the Australian Water Recycling Centre of Excellence and that Dr. Judy Blackbeard has been nominated to join the Centre’s Research Advisory Committee. Melbourne Water is Victoria’s largest water utility and a statutory corporation. Owned by the Victorian Government, Melbourne Water manages water supply catchments, treats and supplies drinking and recycled water, removes and treats most of Melbourne’s sewage, and manages waterways and major drainage systems in and around Melbourne. Melbourne Water also supplies water and sewerage services to the retail water companies City West Water, South East Water and Yarra Valley Water. Melbourne Water brings a wealth of experience in the area of water recycling and the Centre is pleased to welcome its second water utility member and a key industry stakeholder.
